Statement
These wall-hung, 3D-printed sculptures embody a deliberate contradiction. Rooted in advanced technology, they reflect humanity’s capacity for innovation while simultaneously depicting the natural world—something that exists independent of human intervention. Digitally constructed images are translated into physical, dimensional forms, transforming landscapes that are traditionally untouched by human hands into objects that could never exist without them. This tension between the organic and the engineered highlights the paradox at the core of the work: nature, reimagined through artificial means, challenges our understanding of authenticity, creation, and our evolving relationship with the environment.
Unique Original
Each piece is a one-of-a-kind creation. While 3D printing provides the foundation, every work is meticulously assembled and refined by hand. Even when derived from the same design, exclusive color variations ensure that no two editions are ever the same.
Process
The artwork begins as a digital composition, carefully layered to highlight subject and narrative. This design is transformed into a 3D file and brought to life through additive manufacturing, where layers of colored filament are precisely built up.
Details
The surface reveals both the energy of the image and the tactile language of 3D printing—ridges, grooves, and striations that expose the machine’s hand in creation, later shaped and unified by the artist. Up close, vivid layers resemble geological strata; from afar, the scene resolves with striking clarity.
This dual experience invites reflection on the balance between craft and technology, surface and depth, memory and imagination.
