Statement

The Untitled series draws inspiration from street signs and cave paintings, intentionally stripped of specific context. It imagines how our culture might appear to outsiders—unfamiliar with our world, yet trying to interpret it through their own lens.

Each piece is filled with symbols and fragmented narratives, as if these outsiders are reconstructing meaning using what they already understand. While the images may initially seem strange, they evoke a sense of familiarity—like fragments of a dream we’ve all had but can’t quite recall.

This series explores how complex ideas can be communicated in simple, universal ways.
